With Brexit, the EU legislation does not apply in Great Britain anymore. This means that manufacturers must comply with UK regulations if they want to place their products on the GB market. The EU legislation still applies in Northern Ireland, where the protocol between Ireland, which is part of the EU, and Northern Ireland, part of the UK, is still valid.
